Transfer doctrine, Jamaican Throwback, and STL Calls

May 4, 2015

Man, oh man. Where to start? Well, I'm no longer in the Santa Fe ward, but funny story, I'm going literally right next door. We share the same building and everything and our church times even overlap. haha. But the bestist part  is that I'm going to be with my bestest bud Sister Cromwell! We have been serving around each other for over 10 months! She has been my Sister Training Leader for the last three transfers and now were STL's together! Dream come true! It's going to be epic. For those of you who don't know what an STL is, it's like a Sister version of a district leader, so we go on exchanges with the sisters and help them out whenever they need it, so I'll get to go down the hill to Rancho for lots of meeting and whatnot now. On Saturday I got a call from my district leader who tells us where we go, but when he told me that I was going with Sister Cromwell to Mojave River I thought that he was just pulling my leg. Nope. Because usually if you get a leadership call it will be from the Assistants to the President but they never called so it was news to me. I'm really nervous and I feel pretty inadequate but God will help me and it will all be ok. But I'm really happy and I'll still be able to keep an eye on Santa Fe ward and help Sister Dart whenever she needs it. She got a really good new comp too so I'm happy for her. I'll even get to go on exchanges to my old ward! haha. How awesome is that?

Gilbert is progressing splendidly towards his date! He is excited and has already seen so many blessing from the Gospel. I'm so happy for him. The ward is progressing well and I'm excited that I still get to see it grow from across the hill. I'm so grateful to be a missionary and I love it so much. It is so hard sometimes but so worth it.

Love ya lots,
 Sister Prows

It was wonderful. We also got to go to the route 66 museum in old town Victorville. It was so fun and all of the old people took us on a little tour:)

Last week we found a Jamaican restaurant! It was the best day ever! I had jerk chicken and rice and peas and they even had sorrel!

I also took a Legit beef patty and cola champagne to go.
