Hope that you all had a good week.
My week wasn't so bad. I'm still feeling a little under the weather and my
cough and runny nose decided to stick around for a bit longer but I'm
slowly getting better. Our week had a lot more lessons than the previous couple
and this next week we have a bunch of awesome lessons set up. I am actually
super stoked. My little greenie has her 4 week meeting on Wednesday which is so
crazy. I can't believe how fast that flew by. Next thing we know and I will be
chatting up a storm with you all on Christmas!
So I didn't do anything for my
birthday but the other sister missionaries sent me a little card, some
confetti, and a couple of balloons in a little envelope and my zone all texted
me happy Birthday. It was kinda uneventful though but it's all good. On
Saturday we went over to grandma's and helped her decorate her tree! it was so
much fun and so cozy and sweet. We also got a chance to do a couple of really
fun service projects. One was that we went and helped teach English and the
other one we got to go help out in a thrift store that helps kids in Africa.
The English teaching was my favorite though. They were all like the sweetest
people ever and it was fun to see how excited they got about learning. We
taught them different idioms haha. It was hilarious. They couldn't understand
why so many had to do with a cat. On Saturday my comp and did a little spur of
the moment hike up a huge hill. It had a lovely view. It rained cats and dogs
for the first time in months last week and so all of the hills are starting to
turn green again!!!! It is like my dream come true. Christmas lights are
popping up to and fro and everybody is getting so excited. I'm excited! This is
such an amazing time of year. I just love it all so much. We are in our ward
choir and we are preparing to go sing at this huge catholic church next Sunday.
Every year we take turns hosting it and this year it is at their place so we
get to go over and sing in their massive church! You all know that I'm not much
of a singer and I have absolutely no idea what anyone is ever talking about
when they try to perfect it but we figured that it would be a good opportunity
for people to see us and maybe when we knock on their door they won't be so
mean hehe.
Well, I am so glad that you all are
doing so good. Mom gave me a little spill about what is going on with each of
you. I hope that you all know how much I love you. Keep me updated!
Love ya lots,
Sister Prows
